Nothing daunts them. Not cold or storms,
not the curled leaves catching on thorns.
Even now, when I think they’ve gone,
a new bud peeks out of the rain
and then it opens, it opens—
their fragrance spills into winter.

꽃이 다 졌다고 생각하는 지금도
새싹은 빗속에서 눈을 뜨고
그리고 꽃이 핀다, 꽃이 핀다ㅡ
그들 향기, 겨울 속으로 쏟아져 나온다.
