has been around

It has been awarding Literature Prizes annually

except for Sijo

Alas, how has Korea so neglected its own Sijo

Wiping tears off. A new prize has been set up for Sijo

To help Sijo come back alive and let it fully bloom

as the people's blossom of Korea

To help all people in and out of Korea

truly love Sijo

A stepping stone has been laid allowing us to

dream even of a day of global Sijo

눈물 훔쳐 세웁니다

살아나는 민족의 꽃 만발토록 거름되게

국내외 온 겨레 시조사랑 보탬 되게
